Background

Malaysia Timber Industrial Board(MTIB) is responsible for initiating development of the various sectors of the timber industry and providing technical, marketing and other forms of assistance to ensure their continued growth within a rapidly industrialising Malaysian economy.

Development of the system began in 2004. MTIB Core System (MCS) provides the core processes under the timber trade regulation activities namely, registration, registration renewal, timber export and import lincese inssuance, cess account activities and statistics and data capture (reporting).
