Background

iLaunch was engaged by the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia to develop the SKKM system (Sistem Kredit Kemahiran Malaysia) for the Department of Skills Development, also known as Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran  (JPK), a department under the purview of the Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.

SKKM is an on-line application system, developed to enhance the delivery and management of Malaysian Skills Certification System (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) which include Accreditation Program, Recognition of Prior Learning, Recognition of Other Skills Qualification, Recording, Certification and Appointment of Skills Personnel.

E-Tanah Project

Background

In order to realize the computerization of the entire management functions and land administration in this country, the Ministry of  Natural Resources and Environment  planned to create an integrated computer system known as Land Office Modernization System (LOMS) or e-Tanah.

The study on LOMS was completed in August 2002. The findings were presented to LOMS Committee, Information Technology Technical Committee MAMPU as well as other central agencies, and were accepted as a basis for the project implementation.

JOBSMALAYSIA

Background

JobsMalaysia is an automated online job matching system provided by the Ministry of Human Resources. It is one out of the three core modules under the Electronic Labour Exchange (ELX). The system was launched by the Minister of Human Resources, YB Datuk Dr. Wira Fong Chan Onn on the 30th of May 2002.

JobsMalaysia provides facilities for job seekers to seek suitable jobs and for employers to get their right candidates. Job seekers can do online job application while employers can manage the applications using JobsMalaysia. All these facilities are accessible to all levels of users with no charge.

e-LJT Project

Background

The Land Surveyors Board is an institution that promotes the relevance and significance of the land surveying profession in nation building, national development, environmental sustainability and the betterment of society. The activities of the Board are governed by applicable legislations, regulations and rules.

The e-LJT project will enable the board to improve its work processes and delivery system. The project will include the improvement using ICT on the Board’s general administration, registration and documentation functions, project registration, recording and monitoring, and finance management. The project will include the implementation of a technical framework that will be used to address the Board’s current and future applications.
